As far as famous art work goes – theres not too much that beats the Mona Lisa, which becomes pretty obvious when you’ve got to barge your way through a crowd to get a quick glimpse! The amazing architecture of The Louvre is mesmerising in itself, and gets even better when you go inside and walk through corridors of breath taking art work. One of the best parts of this experience though, was when we were waiting in the line that would no doubt take a few hours to get through, and we were approached by an English couple who gave us the tickets they used to get inside – someone had passed them onto the couple as they were leaving so they could skip the line and go straight in, so once they had finished they gave them to us! We made sure to do the same, and passed the tickets on when were on our way out.
